This dress was gorgeous!! I didn't realize that I never did a review last year, but we are back again for Sr Prom. She got so many compliments about her dress. It actually looks better than the inspiration pic we submitted. We're looking for LUNSS to do it again!!

Hello! I would like a formal evening gown custom-made in the style of the vintage pictures I have included for reference, and my illustration. The color would be a dark midnight blue in a silk or satin-like material with a sheen. The length should be ankle length so that I can walk freely.
If possible, I would like weights to be placed along the bottom hem so that the dress falls nicely. I would also like the front to be padded with bra cups. No slit and no rhinestone embellishment. A hidden side zipper is preferable.
Measurements:
Back shoulder width: 15.5 inches
Bust: 32 inches
Under bust: 28.5 inches
Mid-shoulder to bust point: 8.5 inches
Waist: 27 inches
Hips: 36 inches
Height: 64 inches
Hollow to hem: 51 inches
Arm circumference: 10.5
Armscye: 15 inches -

The dress came out absolutely fantastic after taking some time with Tansy to make adjustments to my liking. Very pleased with the color chosen and the sheen of the fabric. The worksmanship has shown me that this dress will be durable! I am very pleased with Lunss Couture and plan to work on another custom dress with them in the future. :)

Hi,
Ever since I've seen the dress in photo number 6, I've been OBSESSED with it and finally learned she had it made with you guys. One of your customer service representatives emailed me back with a link to check out other gowns made by your team and after seeing them, I've selected these. I'll go one by one and explain what I'm looking for
1) Red is my favorite color and I'm thinking I can't go wrong with a red dress. I'm about the same complexion as the lady in photo 6 for reference.
2) I like the fullness of the bottom of this dress and I hope that the one I get can still be full if I have it designed as the bottom of the dress in Pic 6.
3) I love everything about the bodice of this dress but instead of blue, light blue and white, it'll be either green, light green and white or red, light red (not pink) and white.
4) I love how high the back goes on this dress. I'm plus sized so the height of the back of this dress helps conceal some areas. I also prefer a zipper closure with hook at the top for extra security.
5) I also love the over the shoulder element.
6) The dress that started it all. Again, Ms. Dauphine is more slender than I so I don't know if her exact design will work (especially since I have a large bust -- I'm not sure if there'sa built-in bra or how large you'dbe able to make it if there is). The skirt on this gown is gorgeous, though, and I'd love to have that.
7) I've been told I look nice in green so I added this solely because it's green. I'm torn between red and green but I'm leaning towards red.
8) The length of the back of the skirt of this dress is nice.
Tulle is the preferred fabric but it rains a lot in England so I hope that won't be a problem.
I must also add I'm VERY nervous about this. I own three dresses and I've only ever worn one of them, and that was three years ago. Also, all of this is done online so there's no brick and mortar store for me to go to if something is amiss. Fingers crossed this will be a very pleasant experience with a beautiful result. -

I was soooooo nervous about ordering a custom made dress online from a place thousand of miles away. So nervous, in fact, that I paid for a sketch, went to a local tailor for measurements and ordered a mock-up dress. The dress fit perfectly, and even my tailor was impressed. I haven't gotten married yet so I don't have fancy pics of the dress, but I'll add them once I have some.
Some tips that may make the process easier:
1) If possible, go to a professional tailor. I went and had her take the measurements requested from Tansy.
2) Get a sketch (or draw one if you have the talent) if going custom. It's easier to help your designer make the changes necessary before the garment is constructed.
3) Be very open, clear and SPECIFIC about what you have in mind. Tansy was great with communication and we had many chats about what I wanted. Don't feel like you're being annoying in asking a bunch of questions about what you're paying for.
4) Again, if possible, purchase a mock-up or toile. This will be the dry run for the actual dress where they use scrap fabric to stitch a dress together to make sure the measurements are accurate. While the measurements were accurate, there were a couple of things my tailor and I thought would make the dress fit my body shape a little better, so I sent the mock-up back with the tailor's notes. I'm glad I did.
The only suggestion I'd make to Lunss is to have customers choose how the garment will be delivered. It came very tightly packed up into a ball, almost, and you'll have to be super careful when opening the package; the wrinkles came out eventually. If there was an option I would have paid more for the manner of shipping, i.e. in a box, instead of a ball of dress.
Finally, a MASSIVE shout out to Tansy. She was great and patient, and her guidance and advice made me feel more relaxed about this whole process.

The rompers that my cousin and I designed were perfect for the event - everyone was wowed by how incredible they looked! We bought shoes, masks, jewelry and custom bags to match them. This has once again been a great experience, and I will definitely continue to recommend this brand to all my friends. Thank you for all of your hard work.

Hello, I’m getting married on 10/30/21; and it’s a Halloween themed wedding. I want a sally themed wedding dress; I had someone design the dress by giving them certain parts of wedding dresses I love to see in one. The only thing wrong about the design is I want longer sleeves that go all the way to my wrist. If you have any suggestions on how to make the dress even more amazing I am all ears! Thank you!

Was more than happy with my wedding dress. Worked really close with the wedding designer for the last year and she worked with me and answered every question I had. She ensured me the wedding dress would arrive just in time for the wedding. I love my wedding dress and it went with my wedding theme. My husband love my wedding dress and it was really nice to see his face as I walked down the isle. Thank you!

I would like the dress to be white/ivory with thicker satin/silk fabric to hide any body dimples etc. and for the top to fit as it does in “graces review” picture

Your work is wonderful and detailed. Thank you. The beautiful satin dressed you made will be used for my reception dinner. It’s perfect to avoid making it longer which would manly be needed for pictures etc.

This dress was definitely almost like the photo!! Obviously the materials were not exactly like the photo I sent them, but they made sure to get as close to it as possible. It was also constructed very well and the designer kept me updated throughout the process every step of the way! Would definitely recommend!
