My dress was amazing! It was so unique and I got so many compliments. It looked exactly like the picture and fit me perfectly. The only reason why I’m giving a 4 star rating is because I got my dress only a day before prom which is was stressful. I would’ve preferred at least a week in advance, and the first time I used this site my dress came a few weeks before prom which was less stressful. Other then that, great service, great dress!

I want my dress to look exactly like the picture above, very ball gown. Clenched waist not straight, made with satin and lace, exactly like the picture.

I was more than skeptical of this website but i was desperate for a dress. I took the chance and I'm glad I did. The dress looks just like the picture and I loved it. The waist was a little big but at least I could breathe. AMAZING

My Daughter received so many compliments about this dress. I uploaded the pictures to Facebook and everyone loved the dress. It is so beautiful and sparkly in person. She was worried about it being itchy with all the sequins and it was not a bit itchy! There was 2 separate linings inside all the way from top to bottom. She said it was so comfortable!!
She found the dress of her dreams in a store, but it was too big at the top, too long, the belt was messed up without a way to latch and the beading was coming loose at the neckline. They only had one in but she loved it! It was priced at $399.00, then by the time that we would have had the alterations completed it would have been another $100 at least. We had the same exact dress, custom made by LUNSS, to her exact measurements, for about half the price. Nancy was so nice and patient and answered all my questions and concerns.
This is the 3rd Prom Dress that I have had made by LUNSS. The first 2 Tansy was my designer and this time we had Nancy and both were a pleasure to work with.
A couple of suggestions:
1. Start early!! If your Prom is in March or April, start in December or January with your customization! This year I was worried because I didn't realize the Prom would be on March 9th, it was usually in mid April. We started the customization on February 5th and received the Dress on March 7th. We paid extra for Express Delivery, but it was so worth it!!
2. Do not just order the size you normally wear, ALWAYS CUSTOMIZE!! You will be much happier with your dress and will not have to have it altered at all. It will fit like a glove straight out of the package. There are not many people in the world that have the same size at the top as you do at the bottom.
3.. Please either have someone professional do your measurements correctly or look at the size guide with description and pictures of where exactly to measure and have someone else measure you! Do not try to measure yourself, your measurements will be wrong and you will not be happy with your dress!
4. Always have the built in bra added!! :-)

The dress was stunning it was a different look from the picture but unique in its own way it fit perfectly according to the measurements but we had to take it in some just for my daughters liking. The look was flawless. It came in a timely manner and they responded to all questions before and prior to shipment. I will be ordering again.

Initial Idea
I want the dress in Picture 1 BUT with a few alterations to the style.
I want the fabric of the dress to be sparkly/glittery like it is in Pictures 1 and 2. I want the dress to shine and sparkle with and without a lot of light shining on it.
I want to keep the same neckline/top in picture 1. I also want to keep the upside-down trianglular shaped cut of the back like in Picture 3. BUT I want it to be a lace-up back so I have the ability to make the top tighter and to make my waist look smaller.
For the bottom of the dress, I want to keep the same pleated look of the skirt, but I want the skirt to have the tiered, high-low design like in picture 4.
I also would like a miniature train on the back of the dress that is no longer than 7-9 inches. (Just a bit of longer fabric in the back so the dress drags behind me a little.)
Pictures 5 and 6 is the color I want the dress.

This company is wonderful. I looked for a prom dress for six months and couldn’t find one that I felt deserved me spending money on. I found an abundance of wedding dresses and ballgown styled prom dresses and Cinderella inspired dresses that were super pretty, but not one of them had EVERYTHING I wanted in the dress. I wanted to get a dress custom made by a designer I found and fell in love with, but his dresses were thousands of dollars and the order had to be placed years in advance. When I found this website I couldn’t believe it. I fact checked the website to make sure it was legit and all the honest reviews from previous customers made me trust them even when everyone else I knew said I was wasting my money or getting scammed. The AWESOME seamstress I was paired with did an absolute WONDERFUL job on my dress and it was everything I expected. The only (minor) qualms I had with the dress when it arrived was getting the dress out of its super compressed packaging (they stuffed a ballgown into a ball that was roughly the size of a basketball. It took me almost 40 minutes to carefully cut away all the tape. I swear they used magic to get it wrapped up like that.). The color was also slightly off than what I exported. I (thought) I picked a light baby blue color with gray undertones, but because of lighting in the picture they sent me and because of lighting/color changes that happen with screens, the blue was actually a light grey. At first I was disappointed, but it actually made the dress look even more beautiful. It didn’t have the blue which would make people think I was trying to mimic Cinderella and the design and color didn’t make it look like a wedding dress, so the color being off was actually a blessing in disguise (a lot of people were making fun of me when I said I wanted a Cinderella inspired dress, said a blue ballgown would look costume-y, and said that getting a white/cream colored dress would be a wedding dress.) The bust of the dress was also a bit loose due to me accidentally losing a bit of weight that altered my exact measurements I sent months prior. (I kept having a bra slip and kept needing to pull up the dress, but that was my fault for ordered a big ball gown and expecting it to stay in place all night, haha.) The last and only *real* issue I had was that the dress wasn’t as fluffed out or as big as I wanted it (I wanted a high-low ball gown similar to another high-low ballgown I saw and drew inspiration from) in the actual “ball-gown” portion of the dress. But even then, it never took away from the beauty of it. The dress was gorgeous and if I ever get the chance to wear it again, I’ll just make a high low petticoat to put underneath to fluff it out even more. I’d rate this company and their service 10/10 and I would ABSOLUTELY order from them again and recommend them to EVERYONE I know. They’re not a scam, customer service is great, and they do everything exactly asked. (I wish I could remember the name of my seamstress, I loved her a lot and she was so god and patient with me even when I was getting anxious with her.) Order from them, you won’t regret it!! (And make sure you order WAAYY in advance to get your item on time!)
