Custom Wedding dresss

I absolutely adore how my dress turned out. I carefully reviewed my vision and then looked at photos to ensure I was on the right track. Shirley was incredibly responsive and provided me with valuable guidance throughout the process.

I would like to use the attached dress. But customize colors and appliqué. Can we change the appliqué to be in burgundy and navy blue for flora and dark green leaves. Then add under lace liner to be ocean blue. Also change sleeves to have the two tier flutter sleeves with gold and appliqué light on sleeves. Please see sleeve attachment for from top of shoulder to half sleeve as example. Also chiffon material where possible and mostly ivory is basic color.

Hello

Thank you for choosing LUNSS for your high-end customization. This is Shirley at your service. It's my pleasure to assist you in customizing your dream wedding dress.

Do you want to add the sleeves shown in the picture to this wedding dress? I have made the renderings for you.

Besides, sorry that we cannot dye the lace appliqués separately. If you want the dress to be colored, we recommend combining these two styles.

mceclip1

mceclip2

What do you think?

Do you also want to add a layer of blue lace underneath the appliqué layer, right? Could you please provide similar pictures for our reference?

Looking forward to your reply and ideas.

Best regards

Shirley

Hi Shirley,

Yes, those are my idea of sleeves but two tiers. For the lace appliqué If can't have both colors then I like the blue appliqué only.
my idea for the blue under the lace was like a ocean blue liner that is solid color made of like chiffon. Also dress train should be chapel length forgot to add that. Attached is blue liner idea just on skirt portion. Does that make since?

Hello

Thanks for your reply, we fully understand. You want the inner base layer close to the skin to be blue, so a hint of blue shows through the lace, right? No problem.

We recommend two types of lining fabrics for you to check. Which one do you prefer?

mceclip1

mceclip2

Please confirm: only the bodice and skirt sleeves have lining, while the sleeves are just two layers of tulle.

May I confirm the lace for the dress with you? Would you like to use the lace from our original wedding dress and dye it blue, or prefer the blue lace appliqués I recommended later?

Hi Shirley

Yes, correct I would prefer the 108 blue and yes appliqué lace as blue. Do you have ivory with blue appliqué? Would prefer lace with blue appliqué that you recommend. Unless use original dress of plain light chiffon ivory 2nd layer over the darker blue 1st layer and then add lace with blue appliqué as 3rd layer.

Hi

mceclip2

mceclip3

Thanks for your explanation. We’ve actually found off-white and blue lace appliqués. Please check if you like it.

So:

The first layer consists of blue appliqués paired with blue tulle, and we will cut out the appliqués and place them in designated positions.

For the second layer, do you want semi-sheer ivory chiffon as the lining? Actually, I think chiffon will obscure the blue tone, so we suggest using sheer tulle instead. What do you think? Besides, I recommend making the sleeves in the same blue shade as the outermost layer for a cohesive overall color scheme.

We will use lining fabric No.108 to make the third layer.

mceclip4

Alternatively, we will show you the fabric matching samples before production and start making it only after your confirmation. Please confirm that the shoulder part is opaque.

mceclip0

We accept both standard and custom sizes. If you choose a standard size, please refer to our size chart. If you choose a custom size, please refer to our measuring guide and provide the following data.

  • Height(barefoot)
  • Back Shoulder Width
  • Bust(fullest portion)
  • Under Bust
  • Mid-Shoulder to Bust Point
  • Waist(smallest portion of your waist)
  • Hips(fullest portion of your butt)
  • Hollow to Floor(barefoot)
  • Shoe Height
  • Arm Circumference
  • Armscye
  • Sleeve Length

Hi,

thank you for this design. Yes I like your suggestions so blue will show through lace and ivory. One more question. It is a year and a half till I get married. How much time is needed for production. I also like the shoulder sleeve to have the appliqué as well with smaller appliqué and skirt to have the larger appliqué. I am good with sheer tulle as long as tulle is soft to skin. The rougher tulle is too itchy. Thank you. I will work on measuring and ordering soon.

avatar - Shirley

It’s totally fine to add small flowers on the sleeves. Production takes about one and a half months, and standard delivery takes around ten days. You can place the order and pay the deposit first, then send us your customized measurements whenever it’s convenient for you. ☺️Rest assured, our tulle fabric is extremely soft.

Would you like to verify your measurements before production? We can create a simple mock-up dress based on your provided measurements. This is for you to try on to verify the accuracy of the measurements so we can make any necessary adjustments. The mock-up will be shipped within 7 working days of payment.

Thank you for your payment. Would you like to order a mock-up first?

The mock-up is an additional service. You will need to add it to your cart to complete the payment. This is not the final finished dress. It is only made for you to try on and check the fit. We look forward to your reply.

I have made a render drawing of the dress back design for your reference. Please kindly let me know if you would like a V-shaped back. It will be crafted with a hidden zipper and decorative buttons.

We accept both standard and custom sizes. If you choose a standard size, please refer to our size chart. If you choose a custom size, please refer to our measuring guide and provide the following data.

Thank you, yes I would like the v back. Also yes let ordermock up

I will get measurements soon

avatar - Shirley

Thank you for your reply. Once we receive your custom measurements and order confirmation, we will arrange for the factory to make a mock-up for you first, which is expected to be completed within one week. After that, we will arrange shipment.

Please inform us whether the sample fits you well after receiving it, then we will commence the production of the final wedding dress. Also, please kindly confirm again that you are satisfied with the blue and white lace appliqués we recommended previously, and they will be applied to the final dress design, correct?

mceclip0

avatar - Wandald27

Thank you, I thought the blue appliqué was being applied to the ivory lace?

avatar - Shirley

mceclip1

I think the dress design is finalized. We now only need to confirm the fabric matching. Would you like to add blue lace appliqués on the original dress fabric (which has a lace applique layer already)?

Which of the two styles do you prefer?

mceclip2

mceclip3

Besides, we can change the lining to color 108 blue. Looking forward to your reply.

Shirley

avatar - Wandald27

I like the blue black or the first out of two photos. I would like them added to the ivory unless that is already ivory lace tulle with blue black appliqué. The blue lining needs be subtle blue under ivory. Hopefully that make sense.

avatar - Shirley

I fully understand your request and have remade the renderings. You prefer the lace from the first lace design(blue and dark blue, not black), which is totally fine. We will apply this lace to decorate your dress, and make the dress with your chosen lining color as well. Is this the style of rendering you want?

Please note that the specific placement of the lace will be adjusted according to actual production. This is only a rough AI-generated picture for your reference of fabric matching. Looking forward to your reply.

avatar - Wandald27

Thank you for example pic it is too blue and maybe what want is to go back to ivory lining with blue appliqué do you have ai of that?

avatar - Shirley

Hi

Please don’t worry. If you think the previous design effect is too difficult to achieve, it is because we need to add several layers of white tulle between the outer fabric and inner lining during production to reduce the transparency of the blue tone, just like the effect on the left side of the picture below. Do you like this style?

You can also refer to many colored wedding dresses we have made before, whose inner lining color are not obvious at all. We apologize that the previous picture caused misunderstanding. I only intended to show the matching combination of fabrics.

mceclip1

mceclip0

If you prefer the whole dress to be off-white, that is completely feasible, same as the design on the right picture below. We are waiting for your final decision.

Please kindly note that all of our bridal tulle materials are defaulted to off-white instead of ivory white, which is a very natural white.

Shirley

avatar - Wandald27

Thank you I prefer the one on right off white

I think we all on same page with layers just so blue is not main color more in line with the ivory colors and hint of blue underneath. Or lace blue appliqué. Would it be beneficial to pay for a schetch?

avatar - Shirley

If blue is not the main tone and you only want a subtle blue accent on your wedding dress, we have two design solutions for you.

First, we can keep the original ivory lace of the dress unchanged, and only change the innermost lining to your preferred blue color.

4296ca4d 38f3 436b b409 dd2fff2e0942

The second option is to keep all inner linings in off-white, and add blue-toned lace flower appliqués on the outermost layer only.

mceclip0

I think even a hand-drawn sketch cannot fully present the final finished effect. During production, we will arrange the lace at proper positions and send photos to you for confirmation before fixed.

Please rest assured. You only need to let me know which option you prefer for now.

avatar - Wandald27

I like both but I really like the last one the best with blue appliqué. Thanks for helping me with deciding 😁

avatar - Shirley

Ok

mceclip0

We will be patient waiting for your custom measurements and mock-up order.😊

Height(barefoot). 65 1/2 inches

Back Shoulder Width. 19 1/4 inches

Bust(fullest portion). 51 1/2 inches

Under Bust. 43 1/2 inches

Mid-Shoulder to Bust Point. 48 1/2 inches

Waist(smallest portion of your waist). 42 inches

Hips(fullest portion of your butt). 47 inches

Hollow to Floor(barefoot). 57 inches

Shoe Height. 2 inches

Arm Circumference. 27 inches

Arm hole 13 inches

Sleeve Length. 29 inches

Skirt length. 37 inches

We have received your mock-up order as well as your custom measurements. We would like to confirm the sleeve length with you. Since this is a short-sleeve style, please kindly inform us of your desired actual sleeve length. Besides, the upper arm circumference data you provided seems to be incorrect.

Waiting for your reply.

Shirley

avatar - Wandald27

Hi

I thought you wanted my mid shoulder to wrist length. If want half sleeve length I would say shoulder to elbow would be 10 inches.

Not sure what arm circumference is. So ignore that one. 27 inches was arm length from mid shoulder.

UpperArm around would be 12 inches

avatar - Shirley

Arm Circumference. 12‘’

Sleeve Length: 10 "

All noted! Thank you!

Hi

Could you double-check this measurement?

mceclip0

blobid0

And this armscye seems too small; please double-check it.

mceclip0

mceclip0

Waiting for your reply.

Shirley

avatar - Wandald27

Mid should to bust point is 12.5 inches

and the armscye is 25 inches

thank you for descriptions. Do these seem better?

avatar - Shirley

Thank you for your updated measurements. We will arrange the factory to make this mock-up for you as soon as possible. Please let us know after you receive them whether they fit well and if any adjustments are needed.😊

mceclip0

mceclip1

Could you please double-check your hip measurement before I place the order with our factory? Normally, the hip circumference is larger than the bust circumference. Thank you.

avatar - Wandald27

Thank you for double checking. My bust is quite big and hips are close to same size. This is re-measured sizes.

waist is 46 1/2 inches

hips are 50 inches

bust is 51 inches

avatar - Shirley

Ok, all correct measurements are below:

Height(barefoot). 65 1/2‘’

Back Shoulder Width. 19 1/4‘’

Bust(fullest portion). 51‘’

Under Bust. 43 1/2‘’

Mid should to bust point is 12.5‘’

avatar - Shirley

Hi

Thank you for sending us the photos of you trying on the mock-up. The corset hasn’t been fitted with boning and lining yet, so it may not hold its shape well. Just to confirm: you want to cut the neckline deeper by 3/4 inch on each side to widen the V-neck, as marked in red, correct?

mceclip0

We can add 1 inch to both sides of the waist and hip area as highlighted in blue, no problem at all.

Your heels are 5 cm high. Did you wear your shoes when trying on this sample? If you confirm to shorten the length by 2 inches, we will make a note of it.

Once we receive your confirmation, we will arrange our factory to produce your final wedding dress with all these size adjustments accordingly.

Best regards

Shirley

avatar - Wandald27

Hi,

To confirm I need the neckline reduced by an inch not increased. The shoulders kept falling off with mock up. They were too loose.

If boning us being added then may need and inch extra on each side plus boning per blue.

For hemline I want it reduced by two inches in front only and yes I wore my shoes. That doesn't include any hemming that may reduce it more so less hemming.

Thank you!

avatar - Shirley

Hi

Got it. You want the V neckline slightly smaller to widen the shoulder area and reduce the exposure at the neckline, right?

mceclip0

(Add one inch each side toward the neck based on the current V neckline.)

Add one inch to each side of the waist and hips, and shorten the front length of the dress by two inches. No problem at all. We will arrange production for you as soon as possible.

Shirley

avatar - Wandald27

Hi

Thank you, I believe what you are saying is correct.

avatar - Shirley

😊You are very welcome!

mceclip0

The shoulder straps will become wider after adjustment.

avatar - Wandald27

Thank you!

You are welcome!

Hi

We have finished adding the lace applique, it's very stunning. Please take a look.

mceclip0

mceclip1

Once you confirm, we will proceed to the next production stage. Please note that this is only an update during production. We still need to add the overlay tulle and sleeves.

We expect to take final photos for your confirmation next Monday.

I am very happy. I will share the screenshots later. Thank You!

The only thing I will need to purchase is a bustle since it is hard for me to walk even in 2-inch heels. Otherwise is awesome!

avatar - Shirley

Wow! You look absolutely stunning in this dress, and it pairs beautifully with your veil. 😊Yes, you can take it to a local tailor to have a bustle added so you can easily bustle up the train.

Thank you so much for sharing these photos. We wish you a wonderful wedding day.🌹🌹🌹
