Princess Dress of My Dreams!

After seeing a video by Mia Maples on YouTube and seeing what a wonderful job Lunss did designing and making her dresses, I decided I wanted to commission my wedding dress with them too.
I’m so glad I decided to do this because they created the princess wedding dress of my dreams! I got so many compliments on my wedding day and many many people told me I looked like a princess (which was exactly my goal) including my husband.
I love how they walked me through the whole process of designing. From submitting inspiration pics, to communicating their suggestions for what fabrics and appliqués would look best, they included me in each and every part of the process and sent me update pictures for each part!

I attempted to generate my own version of the dress and I really like the bodice used in this version as well as the crystal beading that travels down the front of the skirt for a short length and the rest of the base skirt is the shiny fabric. But I really like the overskirt on the generated picture you've provided.

Yes I really like the idea of sparkly lace to the outer skirt but in this fashion where it's just on the edges of it.

Qould it be possible to add the sparkly lace decorations to the bottom hem of the dress skirt as well?

Could we do polyester satin for the base skirt and bodice and then a shiny white organza for the outer skirt layer and off the shoulder sleeves?

I really like the draping effect on the picture you sent.

Also draping effect on the sleeves and a V/Basque shape on the bodice with the beading accentuating that V shape and the outer skirt layer to be closer together in the center like in this picture.

Very last request would be to add a bow to the bottom back of the lace up corset and add a bustle integrated beneath the bow.

2, Please confirm that the beaded lace will only be added to the edges of the outer layer, and no other areas will have decorations.

3, To clarify, silver rhinestones will only be added to the circled area of the bodice, while the other parts will be decorated with beaded lace. Is my understanding correct? Additionally, we will be adding sleeves and invisible boning for structure.

4, How long would you like the bow tails to be? Is the length shown in the photo acceptable to you? We also suggest making the bow detachable for more versatility.

5, How about this style bustle? We have added transparent snap buttons so you can easily bustle the train and pin it up.

Yes the beaded lace will go on the edges of the outer layer skirt, and I'd also like to add them to the bottom hem of the base dress skirt like this

Yes the silver rhinestones will only be added to the circled parts and the rest will be beaded lace. The off the shoulder organza sleeves and invisible boning is great i approve.

Yes that style bustle with the invisible buttons is good.

I like the detachable bow idea I accept that suggestion. The length of the two tails of the bow I want to be around mid calf length like in this picture where I drew the black line

I would like to confirm the details of the boning on the bodice with you. Would you like the boning to be completely hidden (invisible), or would you prefer it to be slightly visible through the fabric, just like in the inspiration photo?

Unless a customer specifically requests 'Stark White,' most of our dresses come in 'Off-white' by default. This is a very natural shade, like this dress I sent you. Does this work for you?

Regarding the length of the overskirt. We will follow the photo for the front height. As for the back, would you like the outer skirt to be the similar length as the train or just above the floor? Looking forward to your reply!

Hello

Regarding the color, you previously selected Organza #55 is pure White. However, our dressmaker recommends using Off-White instead, similar to the dress pictured below.

This is because it will blend much better with the lace and other materials (as we have very little lace available in pure white). Do you agree with this adjustment? Almost 99% of the wedding dresses in our shop are in off-white, as it is a very natural-looking white.

Additionally, for the lace floral appliqués, our tailor recommends this specific design.

It features beautiful beading and sequins and is better suited for production. It can be used for the hem of the first layer and also hand-cut to decorate the bodice. Looking forward to your reply!

1, How long would you like it to be? Could you let us know how many centimeters shorter it should be compared to the main skirt?

2, Also, if the gathering remains the same as shown here, what about the back? What should the back design look like?

3, If we keep this gathering style, we wouldn’t recommend adding any lace to the edges. What do you think?

the second layer skirt should be about 30 centimeters shorter than the main skirt.

for the back I'd like the second layer skirt to round out in the back like the white line shows and the black lines are displaying the type of "draping" look that id like

And to confirm, the front id like the second layer skirt to round out like the black line shows and the white lines show where I'd like the "draping" effect. The purple highlighted part shows on the dress that draping effect I like

Would any type of light beading or lacing be possible for the edges of the second layer skirt? I'd really love it if it is. The edges I'd just like to have a little shimmer or something extra to make them standout so that they don't blend into the dress

Regarding the back of the underskirt, it is no problem to make it approximately 30 cm shorter than the main skirt.

I will check with our dressmaker to see if the skirt can be designed this way. Also, regarding the addition of lace appliques, we recommend adding them sparingly. Too many appliques may increase the weight of the skirt and affect the crisp shape of the pleats.

Also just confirm I only want the pleats at the very front of the skirt like I drew in this photo and not the ones on the side, and I like the look of the back of the skirt

The front part of the second layer skirt should be about should 30cm shorter than the bottom hem of the front

for the back if the train will be 60cm could we make the back part of the second layer skirt 20cm shorter instead of 30cm?

Thank you for the confirmation. We clearly understand that you want the skirt shape to be closer to your inspiration photo.

Removing the side gathers is no problem. Regarding the layered lengths: the front of the second layer will be 30cm shorter than the inner skirt, and the back will be 20cm shorter than the train. We have already instructed our tailor to re-cut the fabric.

Please note that we are using Organza. The pleats and drape will naturally look a bit different compared to Satin, but we will do our absolute best to achieve the most beautiful effect for you.

You still want to keep the current design, right? For the top layer, we are using tulle fabric. In the current design, the second layer is also made of tulle. If we change it to a light purple dress, just like the one we made before, it uses another type of stiffer mesh.

Personally, I think it would look better if we change the second layer to the same design as the one we made before. It is stiffer and more structured, making it easier for us to add lace appliqués along the edges for decoration. What do you think?

I understand you want to add a slit design at the front with tulle as the outer layer, and this is totally doable. I’m just showing you that with this type of tulle workmanship, we can add lace along the edges. The craftsmanship of the previous purple design is completely different.

If you’d like to change the fabric, the outer layer can also be replaced with satin. The outer layer of our green dress is made of satin. What do you think? Looking forward to your reply.

We tried matching another shiny silver ornament, which goes better with the brooch on the neckline. The previous one was rather dark and not as sparkling and beautiful as this one. Do you like it?

Also, would you like this ornament wrapped all around the waist? If yes, we will purchase an extra one for decoration. Please also confirm whether we should remove the existing lace appliqués on the waist. Our tailor suggests that if you add the full-circle silver rhinestone trim around the waist, removing the appliqués will make the design look neater and more elegant.
