My dream wedding dress!

I absolutely loved my custom wedding dress! The off-the-shoulder draping, delicate lace bodice, and lace panel beneath the slit were even more beautiful in person. It fit me perfectly and felt elegant and comfortable throughout my wedding day. The dress photographed beautifully, and I received so many compliments. Thank you, Lunss, for bringing my vision to life and creating a dress that made me feel so confident and special!

Hello

Thank you for choosing LUNSS for your high-end customization. This is Shirley at your service. It's my pleasure to assist you in customizing your dream wedding dress.

mceclip0

We can customize this bridal bodice for you.

To help us create your perfect dress, could you tell us:

  • Would you like a slit added to the skirt?
  • Will the back closure be a zipper?
  • Could you please describe any other details you have in mind?

Best regards

Shirley

Hello, thank you so much! I'm very excited!

A few specific ideas I had for the dress based on the images I attached:

The first image reflects the silhouette I initially envisioned — something that flatters the waist and has a body-skimming fit. I love how that dress highlights the figure while still feeling elegant. I also love the details it has on the chest area as well as the draping it has acentuating the waist!

I’d love to combine that body with the off-the-shoulder draped sleeves shown in the second image — soft, romantic, and flattering for the arms.
I’m also really drawn to the floral fabric details in the first dress. I’d prefer the visual interest to come from embroidery or draping, rather than heavy sparkle. A bit of subtle shimmer to catch the light is fine, but I’d like to keep the overall look elegant and fabric-focused.

I love the idea of an open back — whether it’s a low scoop, V-back, or soft drape. I’m flexible on the exact style and happy to go with whatever balances best with the front and overall design:

If it’s a low back, I’m okay with an invisible zipper.
If it’s a draped back, I’m happy to go without one.
For the front, I’m considering a boatneck or soft scoop neckline — something modest up top to contrast the open back and keep the overall balance.

I’d prefer no slit, unless it’s layered with sheer fabric underneath — just to feel a little more secure and conceal some light cellulite.
As far as details, I’m drawn to embroidery, fabric draping, and dainty fabric-covered buttons. Minimal sparkle is okay, but I’d like the design to feel timeless and elegant.
For the closure, I’m open to a few buttons or a zipper — whatever fits best with the final design.

Hello

No problem, we can add the off-the-shoulder straps from picture 2 to the dress in picture 1. The bodice will be lace with nude lining, and you can pick your preferred color from our lining fabric options.

https://oneyard.shop/soft-and-skin-friendly-linen-fabric-321.html

As for the back design, because of the off-the-shoulder style, we don't recommend making the back too low. This could cause the entire dress to slip down. What are your thoughts on that?

mceclip0

Waiting for your reply.

Best regards

Shirley

avatar - Tinytheon28.

Hello!!

Yayy! Thank you! Also, Thank you so much for your professional opinion! Whatever you think is best ! :) I'll look at the lining fabric options now

I'm not entirely sure what fabrics to choose from, I just want it to look like the picture.

I asked around and i was given this advice? What do you think?

Main Fabric: Crepe or maybe Mikado? (for body-hugging silhouette that isn’t stiff or overly shiny) I believe the fabric in the picture looks a bit more matte?

Details & Sleeves: Chiffon or silk organza for flowy draping

Embellishments: Lace appliqué on illusion tulle for subtle floral detail. embroidered or appliquéd with lace motifs?

Lining: Soft satin or stretch lining for comfort

My wedding is on September 24 of 2025. Do you think It will arrive on time? Thank you!

avatar - Shirley

Hello

The main fabric of this dress is satin, tulle, lace applique, and lining fabric.

We recommend satin:

https://oneyard.shop/delicate-off-white-bridal-satin-fabric-335.html

This dress is made of this satin for your reference.

mceclip0

or

https://oneyard.shop/double-faced-thick-bridal-satin-fabric-617.html

asymmetrical off the shoulder draped satin wedding dress

This satin is matte.

Lining fabric:

https://oneyard.shop/soft-and-skin-friendly-linen-fabric-321.html

mceclip1

What do you think of color #23 for lining, and the bodice will be overlay with lace and lace applique.

I will send you some lace applique options later.

mceclip0

mceclip1

What do you think of this back design?

avatar - Tinytheon28.

Hi Thank you so much for your advice!

Yes I think the color match #23 looks great! I love these sleeves and the design, I'm so excited! thank you!

I did want to check in about the sleeve placement, Do you think it will cover the armpit area well enough? I'm not super picky about it, I'm just a little insecure about that little area. I will attach a picture of myself so you can see what I mean😅. It's not a big deal, but just wanted to ask, thank you!

1

2

I don't love the back, I'll be okay with it if there's really no other choice though! But do you think there's a way to do something a bit more sexy/soft on the back. I'm worried it will look a bit too structed on the back. I was thinking a bit more of a softer stretchy material, over something very very structured.

Is it possible to do something a little closer to this? Thank you!

Untitled design

Screenshot 2025 07 09 at 12.58.37 PM

In regards to the apliquee, I love all of them wow they're beautiful! I think I'm a bit worried of some being on the bulky side so I think I like apliquee number 5 the most, it seems more flat, I love the detail and i like that it looks slightly sparkly so it still looks like a wedding dress. But Apliquee number 2 would've been my other choice if it doesn't sit bulky on the dress. Whatver you think looks closer to the dress in the picture or what you think would look the best in person! :)

Hello,

I hope you're doing well, I just wanted to see if there are any updates on the dress:) Thank you!

avatar - Shirley

Hello

I apologize for my delayed reply. It's due to the overwhelming amount of information.

1, #23 lining fo the bodice, noted!

2, Do you think it will cover the armpit area well enough?

Yes.

3, mceclip0

We can create a cowl back like that. However, based on our experience, adding spaghetti straps is necessary to ensure the dress doesn't slip down. What do you think?

4,https://oneyard.shop/fake-glossy-acetate-satin-fabric-419.html

We recommend this fabric for your dress.

5. Number #2 sequined lace appliqué, okay!

6, How long the train do you prefer? How about this length?

mceclip1

We accept both standard and custom sizes. If you choose a standard size, please refer to our size chart. If you choose a custom size, please refer to our measuring guide and provide the following data.

  • Height(barefoot)
  • Bust(fullest portion)
  • Under Bust
  • Mid-Shoulder to Bust Point
  • Waist(smallest portion of your waist)
  • Hips(fullest portion of your butt)
  • Hollow to Floor(barefoot)
  • Shoe Height
  • Arm Circumference
avatar - Tinytheon28.

Can the length be a just a little bit longer, and can we do something like this to make it stand out a little bit? Maybe use the same detail from the top or anything you think will look nice?

I will get the measurementst to you as soon as I can! Either by today or tomorrow at the latest! Thank you so much for getting back to me! I'm okay with the straps thank you for your advice!! <3

Screenshot 2025 07 16 at 9.20.56 AM

I'm so excited! I just wanted to say thank you again for making something for me that's my dream dress at a price that I can afford! I will get those measurements as soon as I can :D

avatar - Shirley

mceclip0

Yes, we may make the skirt and train exactly like the picture. Could you please confirm if you'd also like lace embellishments on the side of the skirt?

Or just make longer train and add scalloped lace hemline, still keep the pleats on the hips?

mceclip0

Just so you know, different designs have different prices. We've updated your quote, so please take a look.

We're looking forward to receiving your measurements and initial payment!

Best regards

Shirley

avatar - Tinytheon28.

Hello! I understand about the price going up, and I'm okay with it! Thank you for being so responsive. Honestly I'm not entirely sure about having the side embellishments on the skirt.. I'm worried it might be too much? How will it looks with the fabric going across the hips + the skirt embellishment ? I'm not opposed to it, the detail is beautiful, I'm just not sure how both together might look.

What do you think?

I apologize for not getting those measurements quick enough, I went to three different tailoring places and no one wanted to measure me. I have them, these are the measurements! :)

Full height: 67 inches
Bust: 32 inches
Under bust: 29 inches
Mid shoulder to bust: 7 1/2 inches
Waist: 26 inches
Hips: 38 1/2 inches
Hollow to floor: 56 inches
Shoe height: 2 inches
Arm circumference: 10 inches

Hello, I wen't ahead and paid for the 60% down as well as exepdited shipping <3 Thank you!!

If this helps at all, I don't need the dress to have those lines down the middle if it makes it look nicer to transition the skirt with the embellishments.

Black White Minimalist Calligraphy Welcome Wedding Sign Poster

In the case we do the skirt slit design with the embelishments would the hip drape be extended down to connect to the slit?
Like this? or would that look strange?
mceclip0

avatar - Shirley

Hello

Thank you for your down payment!

/scalloped-lace-long-train-wedding-dress-3090.html

We've made similar trains before. Just for your reference.

Your measurements look great! Once the style is confirmed, we'll arrange for the factory to custom-make it for you.

Best regards

Shirley

The two seams on the lower skirt are unavoidable. You can see them on our previous wedding dresses; they're necessary to create a fuller skirt. Please understand.

mceclip0

blobid0

What do you think of this bottom skirt with slit and ruching detail?

avatar - Tinytheon28.

Hello, I would prefer to not have a slit. I have a bit of cellulite I would like to avoid showing. Thank you!

Oh my apologies, I forgot we talked about this slit! If it looks like this and it covers direct skin then yes I'm for it :) Sorry about that. I like the reference picture you sent, but can it be a bit more off to the side like this one?

Thank you!

mceclip0

I don't think i like the scrunched slit, if there's a slit i would prefer it to be more V like i think, more clean.

Screenshot 2025 07 22 at 9.48.15 AM

I'm trying to think what the slit would look like with the detail the dress has around the hips? would the hip design be dragged down to the slit?

861122 mceclip0

How about something like this?

Screenshot 2025 07 22 at 10.19.37 AM

Also I would love a video from Tiktok! :D

I've followed Lunns, and my Tiktok is Daiana31 (Dai3131)

Thank you!

avatar - Shirley

Hello

mceclip1

I believe we're clear on the design for the bodice of your dress. For the skirt, are you looking for this pleated sheath slit design, including the overskirt? We can certainly custom-make it for you.

mceclip0

Looking forward to your confirmation!

https://oneyard.shop/fake-glossy-acetate-satin-fabric-419.html

We recommend this fabric; it will be perfect for the drapes and pleats on your bodice. I'd be happy to send you photos of dresses we've made previously with this fabric for your reference.

mceclip0

mceclip2

mceclip1

avatar - Tinytheon28.

Hello,

In the case that I did the pleated sheath slit design, including the overskirt.

Would it look like this?

PNG image

I like this fabric, yes :)

Screenshot 2025 07 22 at 10.40.47 PM

avatar - Shirley

Okay, the fabric is available:)

mceclip0

Yes, the overskirt could be detachable. Is that okay? The bottom no lace, just slit anns pleated detail don't he hips, and an detachable overskirt.

avatar - Tinytheon28.

Will the detachable skirt have the long train with the detail? Will it still look more like this?

mceclip2
I still want the train to have the lace like the one I sent above, and if there's a slit I don't want to show my skin, i would like it to have a sheer lace or something under it
. mceclip1

I love how these designs accentuate the waist!

Will the dress get here before september 24? That's when my wedding is. Thank you!

mceclip0

Screenshot 2025 07 23 at 8.34.06 AM

Screenshot 2025 07 23 at 9.33.29 AM

I don't necessarily want the skirt that detaches, I really just like the hip detail the dress has and how it accentuates the waist. Instead of the mermaid bottom of the dress i prefer the shape of the dress I'm sending in this image with the slit. For under the slit, can I have a sheer lace under it like this picture?

Screenshot 2025 07 23 at 9.31.58 AM

avatar - Shirley

Hello

Here's a draft of the skirt's design based on your description.

mceclip0

The sheath skirt features pleat details at the hip and a slit that will have lace underneath. The train will also be embellished with lace. Do you like this design?

1, Regarding the slit, will it be on the left leg?

2,Regarding the lace for the lower skirt – we can definitely find a soft lace that's close to the picture.

As for the lace appliqué on the train, do you want it to be the same as the lace on the bodice?

avatar - Tinytheon28.

Hello, I don't think I like the mix of the slit with the hip drape, it looks a bit odd.

  1. I don't know if I have a preference, I think it seems like most dresses with the slit is on the left. So sure lets do the left! :)
  2. Yay thank you!
  3. It can yeah! I think that would look beautiful, or the lace used for under the skirt. Whatever you feel looks more elegant. Thank you !

    Screenshot 2025 07 23 at 10.51.50 AM

The picture i initially had sent that's below seems to have extra draping fabric ontop of the skirt, i think that would look a bit odd with the slit..

Screenshot 2025 07 23 at 10.58.33 AM

Unless it looked more like this one with the slit;

Screenshot 2025 07 23 at 11.00.26 AM

I'm so sorry I don't mean to be confusing!! This is what I want, the slit can be on the right if it means it looks like this. Thank you, and again I don't mean to be frustrating! So sorry It's not my intention.

mceclip0

I think the slit would still be on the left, based off the picture I sent above 😅

mceclip0

This picture is the final design I have in mind, Is this possible? <3

mceclip0

mceclip0

It can also have the detacheable skirt if it makes it easier for the train, if you'd like to use the detacheable skirt as the train. Whatever makes the most sense! thank you!

The more I see this, the more I fall in love with it. Can we do this please? <3

PNG image

Hello,

Do you think I'll be able to get my dress in time?

Thank you!

avatar - Shirley

mceclip0

We will customize it according to your vision, please rest assured. Yes, adding a detachable overskirt is a great idea, and we will do that. For the lace placement, we will use #2 sequined lace for your train and bodice decorations.

How about this soft lace for the slit underneath?

Thank you so so much!! I'm extremely excited!! :D
For the lace that goes under the dress, I think I like the second one you sent, I think the smaller flowers might look better?

What do you think? Or anything that resembles this referenfe picture the most? It also doesn't have to have a whole lot of embellishement, as long as if has a the sheer over my leg and my leg isnt bare haha. Thank you!!

mceclip0

mceclip1

mmexport1752635907763

What do you think of this lace? The smaller floral pattern is really delicate and refined. We think it's an excellent fit!😊

avatar - Tinytheon28.

Hi Shirley! I was just hoping for any updates! How is everything going?

Thank you!

avatar - Shirley

Hello dear

We apologize, but we've run into a few issues with your dress's design during the production process.

mceclip0

I'd like to discuss the details of modifying the design with you.

1. Neckline

Our dressmaker recommends keeping the neckline as it is. This cut will allow the sleeves to be added more naturally.

mceclip1

2. Back

I know you love the cowl back design, but we've run into a problem when trying to connect the sleeves to it. The back is too low to properly attach them.

We have two suggestions for you:

  • We can switch to a regular zipper back to allow for the sleeves.
  • Or, we can keep the cowl back and not have sleeves. Please let us know which option you would prefer.

mceclip2

3. Train

mceclip4

All of your design details are beautiful. When so many intricate details are combined, our goal is to ensure they all flow together seamlessly. We hope you can understand our reasoning.

We expect to finish your dress next week.

Kind regards

Shirley

avatar - Tinytheon28.

Hello! I'm okay with keeping the neckline the way the dress maker suggests, as for the sleeves, I would prefer the option with sleeves! The back doesn't need to be that low it's okay.

Thank you!

avatar - Shirley

Thank you for your reply.

Make this neckline with sleeves, okay!

mceclip0

I have two design suggestions for the back. Which one do you prefer?

mceclip3

Do you agree we make a skirt with pleats on the hips and a soft lace underneath the slit, and with a beautiful, scalloped pattern train?

mceclip2

How would you feel about making the entire skirt one piece, from the waist to the hem, instead of an overskirt design?

Waiting for your reply.

Best regards

Shirley

avatar - Tinytheon28.

Hello,

That neckline and sleeves is beautiful, I'm all for it!

For the back I like this design you sent!!

mceclip0
For the skirt, I'd love the pleats from the image I sent you! so yes, on the pleats as well as the soft lace underneath!

Yes that's okay if it's one full skirt. Unless you'd be able to add maybe some sort of fabric over the train that would mesh well with the train? Like skirt that detaches..

So make the entire skirt and train one piece, and then have an adittional piece that would create a bit more of that hip appearance?

avatar - Shirley

Hello

Thank you for your confirmation the bodice design.

mceclip0

So both the front and back will be lined with #23 lining and decorated with the same sequin lace applique, correct?

Regarding the bottom skirt, our dressmaker typically adds the pleats and then sends photos to the client to confirm that the pleats and the skirt's train do not compromise the design. Please don't worry.

Image_1756480457623

4

(these photos just for your reference.)

avatar - Tinytheon28.

I believe that should look good! I was imagining the back being white but if you think the back being lined with the #23 lining would look good lets do it that way. I still want it to look like a wedding dress so as long as the majority of it is white I think it would look good.

Okay great! I do prefer the pleats from the second dress you sent as an example if that helps at all! It looks like it shapes her waist and hips better :)

Thank you!

avatar - Shirley

Thank you for your quick response.

Yes, we agree that using a uniform lining for the entire bodice will be more beautiful.

Also, the sleeves are attached to the bodice, correct? They are not detachable, right?

Thank you for your trust. The skirt will be made as one piece, and yes, we will add the appropriate pleats. What is the latest date you need to receive this dress? Is it September 24th?

avatar - Tinytheon28.

Hello,

The latest date I need it by is by September 15th.

The sleeves are attached yes! :)

With the skirt, will there also be the detached extra fabric to create that hip effect, like the image?

Will the dress still look somewhat like this? I'm okay witht the detacheable skirt blending in with the train as well if it needs to be the same fabric for example?

Untitled design

Thank you!

avatar - Shirley

Hello dear

The main skirt has too many design details, so we don't recommend adding the overskirt. The other designs will be kept.

mceclip0

avatar - Tinytheon28.

Okay that's fine

No worries, I understand!

This is just a semi-finished product. Please take a look at the overall fabric combination and the pleats on the hips to see if you are satisfied. We will still be adjusting the draping on the neckline.

avatar - Tinytheon28.

Hello! I'm a bit concerned about the size of the hips, I know it's on a slimmer body/mannequin so it might stretch out but I wanted to make sure.

I have a fairly small waist in comparison to my hips, the measurement I gave you should still be accurate though.

mceclip0

mceclip1

mceclip2

With the waist part, will there be some sort of material covering the line or will it look more clean after it's done? I think the one I sent had a slight piece covering it a bit, though it might look like more light material on the example photo below; I really like the effect the sample photos ive sent have on the waist and hips, where it goes in by the waist and out giving an hourglass shape. I'm worried the photo you sent looks broad on the shoulders but very narrow and rectangular for the rest of the body.

mceclip3

mceclip4

Can we make the pleats a bit smaller and more full like the sample pictures below? I also really like how it shapes her body. What do you think?

mceclip5

Thank you so much for your understanding and for your patience, the dress means a lot to me so I just want it to fit right, It's really my only hope right now since It's far too late to get any other dress so all my eggs are in this basket 😅

I don't know if these pictures help, but this is what my shape is like in a tighter dress

mceclip0

I found another exmple of the pleats I like! :)

mceclip0

avatar - Shirley

Hello

I can understand how you feel, and thank you for your trust in us. We won't let you down.

The neckline still needs some adjustments. The skirt only shows the front fabric; the back fabric isn't displayed. You feel the hips are a bit small, but we actually tailored it to your measurements. Please don't worry about the overall effect.

mceclip1

Regarding the pleats on the hips, we think they're already beautiful. However, we can add another row at the waistline for you. This will make the overall hip effect closer to the inspiration photo you sent. How does that sound?

mceclip2

Time is tight. We hope to receive your reply as soon as possible.

Best wishes

Shirley

Since our mannequin isn't a perfect match for your size, the back zipper wasn't fully zipped up during the photoshoot. Please rest assured, the zipper itself is in perfect condition.

Best regards

Shirley

Please be assured that your wedding dress was picked up by the courier yesterday. We expect to receive the tracking number within 48 hours and will let you know as soon as we have it. You should receive it within 5 to 7 days.😊

5-7 days doesn't give me enough time to alter it if I need to, you said I would receive the dress before September 15th. I paid for expedited shipping.. I get shein shipments faster than 7 days. We've been designing and discussing this dress for over two months, I can't be receiving this dress two days before my wedding, what if It doesn't fit right or look as good as I hoped? I spent over my budget for this dress, I don't have enough to buy another one. I don't mean to be disrespectful, but I'm very disappointed in how long it's going to take to get here.

Please accept my apologies for the delay. We have put a lot of thought into the design of your wedding dress, and I took photos of every step for your approval. The package was shipped on Monday since the courier service was closed over the weekend. Yes, we used an expedited service. I just confirmed with the courier company, and you should receive it in 3-4 days.(not 5-7 days). Please rest assured.
