Great process. Amazing result!

This was an all-around great experience.
I had very specific ideas for the dress I wanted and they were all translated into reality perfectly.
All the communication was lovely and I always got prompt responses to all my messages. Cindy also gave me some helpful tips for colors and fabric types.
The dress itself fits great and sparkles so much. I am really happy and can't wait for the next project with Lunss!

Hello,
I am hoping to create my dream wedding dress with you. I hope the pictures provided will give you an idea of my vision for the dress.

Pictures 3,4,5,8 and 9 show you the shape and length of the skirt. I would like it to be very soft and flowy and rather poofy.

Pictures 6 and 7 show you how I would like the bodice shape to look.

Pictures 1 and 2 show the fabrics. I would like a dusty pale blue underneath and a sheer fabric with gold sparkles over it. Pretty much just like the pictures. But without the asymmetry.

I am also totally open to your ideas to improve my design.

I was also wondering if i could also have a sketch of the dress beforehand and if it would be possible, since I am more of a curvy person, to make the sketch a little curvy too? So wide hips and bust. I could also send you an image of me to give you an idea of my figure.

Dress Design

  • Pictures 3,4,5,8 and 9 show you the shape and length of the skirt. Noted. Do you like it short or tea-length or ankle-length?
  • Pictures 6 and 7 show you how I would like the bodice shape to look. Noted.
  • "Pictures 1 and 2 show the fabrics." It seems the outer layer is made of beaded fabric, please kindly note this fabric is slightly heavy, the dress can not be flowy with this fabric. I will check the fabric details after getting your reply.
  • Our sketch service is charged $79 USD separately. Our artist can draw the sketch based on your specific measurements.

Hello Cindy,

I will send you my measurements and the colour I've chosen in a bit.

I am sorry to change things now but I thought of a few things:

  • Could you add a piece of fabric to the inside of the back of the bodice where the corset is laced up? I would like the skin to be covered if possible.
  • Could you also make a ribbon out of the sheer fabric (about one meter) to use in my hair?
  • I dont know if this is possible but could you make a bowtie and a pocket square for my fiance in the same two fabrics as the dress?

Can you please recommend which of the gold fabrics would be better? Number 5 or number 7. It is a little hard to tell with the small pictures.

For the blue fabric I would like number 18 please ( see picture)

Here are my measurements:

Height: 177cm

Back shoulder width: 44,5cm

Bust:121cm

Under bust: 98,5

Mid shoulder to bust point: 33,5cm

Waist: 97cm (99 when sitting)

Hips: 135cm

Hollow to hem: 136cm

Shoe height: flat

I am just wondering if the sketch was done to my measurements like you said. It looks a bit skinny to me and I was hoping to envision myself in it a bit more.

I saw that the pictures of the dress were uploaded and I`m so excited!

Just a few questions:

  • I was wondering why the boning on the front of the corset is different from the sketch. I feel like it takes away from the v-shape a little bit.
  • I also wanted to ask if you could send me a video of the dress with a little movement in it so I can see ist better?
  • This might just be a problem with the picture or the screen but are the sparkles actually gold? It looks kind of silver in the picture. Maybe you could take a detail picture?
