The first reason its style doesn't fit this dress very well, there's a lot of space between the lace.
Second, the cost of this lace is higher than the price of the dress I quoted to you. If you choose this type of lace, you need to add a fabric difference of $200.
The best I recommend is choose from #32179, #32161. π

We can customize the back of the bottom skirt like in the picture below, with or without the gathering (pleated) in the middle? No train.
What do you think will look better in back as the front is it is now? Does the picture on the right have pleats as well?
What fabric is used for the lining?
Inner lining: White skin friendly satin for the lining.
No pleats on the sides. I would suggest without gathering (pleated) at the back, I will talk to our production team and let's see which design is better to match to the front design. Hope it is okay for you?

Helen, one more thing, I thought the empire waist would be cut a bit higher to accentuate the bust line like the dress above. Can this be adjusted at this point? Or can we add something to cinch it in a little from under the bust . What do you think?

Lace appliques: Please don't worry, the floral lace is applied quite beautifully down on the dress.
Built-in bra: Yes, the dress has a built-in bra with short boning for the structured top.
The waistline: The position of the waist line is the same as in the original picture, see below. The top design of the original picture is different from your dress top, so it may gives you a different feel.
Can't go any higher... If you go up to the chest pad, it's not pretty.
I think the dress is very pretty! π
But I think these two lace decals, if they move a little closer to the centimeter in the front, the waist would look slimmer. π
