Hello! I would like a formal evening gown custom-made in the style of the vintage pictures I have included for reference, and my illustration. The color would be a dark midnight blue in a silk or satin-like material with a sheen. The length should be ankle length so that I can walk freely.
If possible, I would like weights to be placed along the bottom hem so that the dress falls nicely. I would also like the front to be padded with bra cups. No slit and no rhinestone embellishment. A hidden side zipper is preferable.

The dress came out absolutely fantastic after taking some time with Tansy to make adjustments to my liking. Very pleased with the color chosen and the sheen of the fabric. - The main fabric of this dress could be high quality acetate satin fabric. It is glossy and can get an expensive look. You could choose color from below color chart.

- Would you like skirt design as below? It is fit and flare skirt. The skirt has some draping.

Yes, high quality acetate satin fabric would be good. But is there any fabric that is glossier?
As for color, I would like it to be in the same color as the skirt on this Lunss listing: lunss.com Is this the same as #6 in the chart?
I would like the skirt design as in the pictures you provided, yes, fit and flare. I believe the dress is form-fitting until below the hips.
Another thing I would like to note is the thickness of the straps--I would like the shoulder straps to be as thick as the picture references below, 1 inch thick, and made out of the same satin fabric.
I did not see a slit in the pictures, either---just wanted to confirm no slit.
Also please note the cuts of the fabric as I indicated in my illustration.
I plan on making my down payment as soon as these details are finalized.

Charmeuse and silk fabric are glossier, but they do not meet your requirement.
Item 1X406 is in navy blue color. You are correct high quality acetate satin color #6 is navy blue color.
It looks like that the skirt flares out from the widest part of hips instead of below hips. Please let me know if you want to extend tight portion of dress to below your hips.

- Do you want us to make this dress by following the seams in your sketch or based on the original dress pictures?

I love the finished pictures of the dress! I would like to request a minor alteration--can the straps be no wider than 1 inch thick across their entire width? The straps look very wide in the pictures compared to the black and white photo references of the straps.

- The strap is folded. You can placed it with more pleats to narrow it. Or would you like to remove pleats, just make plain strap 2.5 cm wide?

I would like just the plain straps to be 1 inch (2.5 cm) wide. The pleats can be removed.
In the picture, the straps are fairly thin, no wider than 1 inch the entire length.

I apologize if there was a miscommunication. I still would like the back design of the dress to appear as in the pictures and my illustration--my alteration request was simply that the straps were 1 inch thick.
The straps are the PERFECT width now in your pictures, but the back design has changed from what I want. Please refer to the original pictures and illustration for the back design.

As you asked for remove pleats and change shoulder straps to be slimmer, so yellow piece is removed.

When I said "remove pleats" earlier, I was confused because I thought you asked if I wanted to remove the pleats on the straps in the front. I did not know that this meant the back yellow piece would be removed. Please disregard the "remove pleats" request. I only wanted the shoulder straps to be 1 inch thick.
Please take as much time as you need with the modification.

I am sorry that fabrics of 1 inch wide plain straps are not enough to be twisted to form twisted/ folded straps to form back piece.
We need to buy more fabrics to remake the twisted straps and back pieces.
Prompt: it is hard to make sure the twisted straps are 1 inches wide. As I said above, you can twist it with more pleats to narrow it.

You can adjust the back piece height to the way you want. I am sorry that we are too busy at this peak season. Too many dresses are pending here for taking pictures. Thus, our tailor just took picture to show this back piece height. If you want it lower, you can adjust it by yourself. It is very easy.
Prompt: when you wear this dress every time, you need to twist the straps. The twisted straps are not fixed, so back piece height is not fixed. Thus, back piece height depends on the straps you will twist.
