I have been designing my dresses with lunss for about two years. My most recent design was just a simple chiffon cape for my pageant gown. Every time, they have been amazing and so caring, making sure that my designs come out exactly how I would like them. On top of that, the quality is AMAZING! Yes, we could custom make the cape for you. The fabric could be chiffon. If you want it to be detachable, we normally use snap fastener or hooks to connect the cape to the dress. You could kindly think about which connection you like better.

Hi Sunny! This is a good price for me, but I will not be able to pay today, but I will pay before the time limit is up. When you say chiffon, does that mean it be the fabric like the picture I sent with the cape? I want to make sure the fabric is lightweight, similar to one of the pageant cape you made before like this 
Would I also be able to tell you how long I want the cape as well and give you the measurements? :)
Yes, the chiffon fabric we use is light weight, flowy fabric. The original cape is made with chiffon fabric as well. The green cape we made is chiffon fabric as well.
It will be very helpful if you could let me know your height and the train length ( from heel to end of the back train).

height: 5’9 inches without heels, 6’3 inches with heels that I will be wearing for the event.
From the back of the dress I provided in the picture where the open back is: from back of shoulder to bottom of open back is 16 inches. I would like the drape to be as low as the bottom of the open back like this 
from heel to back of the train is 29 inches. However, I would like the cape to be longer than the back of the train so I went ahead and added another 10 inches. I would also like the train to be white. Let me know if you need anything else!

And how would you like the connection to be? Would you like plastic snap fastener? And the other part you have to sew on the dress by yourself. Please kindly think about it and let me know your thought.

you can actually make the back of the shoulder to bottom of open back 18 inches instead. I also would like to know what the plastic snap fastener looks like? I would be able to sew the rest on by myself. :)
since I would like the cape to be longer than the train, the actual heel to back of the train of the dress is 29 inches, but I actually want to add 20 more inches so the cape is longer.
Yes, we could make the back of the shoulder to bottom of open back 18 inches, and the train to be 49 inches.
Below are the plastic snap fastener we use for your check. You need to sew the flat part onto the straps if we this to connect the cape to the dress.
And could you please kindly let me know the width of the straps?

I do have another question. When you say the train will be 49 inches, do you mean the entire cape or just the train from back of heel to end of how long I want it to be? If you mean the entire cape, I can also provide the length of my gown from the top of back shoulder to the train of my gown if this would help. Note that I do not want the entire cape to be 49 inches as this is too short for me, only the heel to back of train if that is what you meant. Let me know if you need anything else!
I am sorry for the confusion, the train to be 49 inches means from heel to end of hem of the train.
And you could kindly let me know your dress length and the measurement from shoulder to the connection portion (below marked in yellow).

to make it easier for you, here is the picture of my actual dress from the back
I would like the cape to start at the top where it connects, that length from left to right is: 13 1/2 inches.

As the straps are fully beaded, I am not sure it is easy for you to sew the snap fasteners or not. Would you like to change the snap fastener to hooks? And you just need to sew some string on the straps, and hang the hooks to the string will be ok. We could provide the snap fasteners to you as well. You could kindly think about which one you want us to sew on the dress, hooks or snap fastener?
Ok, I definitely think the hooks would be better! Could you send me what the hooks will look like? I would also like the snap fasteners just in case. I’m not sure if I told you before, but I would like the cape to be white. :)
Below is the hooks connection for your check. You could sew the other part on the straps or just string, either is ok.
We will provide the snap fastener to you as well when we ship the dress to you.
Yes, you did tell me you want the cape to be white. You could kindly have a look the chiffon color chart, see if you like color #89.
Ok, the hooks will work. I actually like color #90, is that ivory? I feel like that will look best considering my dress is more of an off-white.
Yes, #90 is light ivory, #89 is pure white. We will use #90 to make the cape if you think that color matches better with your cape.

- Shoulder to The the lowest V part is 18 inches.
- The straps width is 1.5 inches.
- Your dress length is 101 inches.
- The train length of the cape is 49 inches.
- The fabric will be chiffon color #90.
- The connection will be hooks, we will ship to you the snap fasteners as well.
We will start making your cape soon. I will update the finished images for you to check once it is done.

everything sounds perfect. Except that my height is 69 inches- 5 feet 9 inches without heels, and 75 inches- 6 feet 3 inches with heels. :)

Im sorry to bother you I know that the cape is started on already, I just wanted to make sure that the cape will be as wide like this cape in the picture shown here? I’m sure that it will considering that the train will be 42 inches And that it will be long anyway making it wide as well, I’m not sure how that works. I just want to make sure!
The cape is already in production, and we made the width base on below image. I think it is wide enough for your dress. You could kindly check it.

It is perfect! One question, when it is held is it very heavy or lightweight and flowy?
The chiffon fabric is light weight and flowy, but as the cape is a big piece, so it has some weight.

I saw the email that my cape was shipped, but when I clicked the link it keeps saying I don’t have any current shipments. Would you happen to know the estimated delivery or should I wait until tomorrow to check again?
As the shipping company picked up the parcel on the weekend, and the parcel normally got on the flight on Monday, you could kindly check it again tomorrow. You should receive it on the weekend if everything goes well. :)

I’m still not able to view the tracking information for my cape. I am out of town so I will have to call my apartment concierge office to have them take it. I just would like to know when it will be there since I have to let them know its for me. :)
