Two-tone Gold and Blue Long Sleeve Mermaid Custom-made Prom Dress

- Dress Design

• Keep the original design, but for the bodice of the dress, I’d like to add material so that I could wear a bra but I want to leave the sleeves to still be mesh.
  - Would you like to add lining underneath to have below marked area opaque? If yes, we could add build-in-bra inside. The lining will be the same fabric and color on the skirt.
  
• I want the sleeves to be very fitted and not flare out at the wrists.
  - Would you like this kind tight sleeves? Your arm shape will be shown.
  
  
• For the bottom of the dress, I really want it to be fitted all the way down to the knee and I want the mermaid part to keep its shape for the most part.
  - The seamline between fitted part and flare part will be at your knee.
  
  Please kindly provide the measurement from your Hollow to Knee.

  Hold the measuring tape at your hollow while a friend pulls it down to the knne.

  • When taking this measurement, stand straight with your feet together without wearing shoes.
• I’ve seen a review for this dress that said that the bottom was a bit see-through and tended to drag awkwardly.
  - Could you please kindly provide the screenshot or link taking us to check that review?
• I would like the material to be thick to avoid it being see-through and really hug my body shape. I’d like a spandex/polyester material with nice shine.
  - The original dress is made of jersey fabric, except light color, jersey fabric itself, especially dark color, is not sheer.
  - Jersey, FDY and stretchy charmeuse fabric could be used for this dress. FDY fabric is thicker and a little stretchy, but matte without shiny; Stretchy charmeuse fabric is s glossy, but a little sheer.
  
• I would also like to add some of the embellishment and the lace from the bodice to go around the train of the dress.
  - We could add beaded lace applique decorating along the skirt hemline as below.
  
  - The original skirt has stretchy tulle inside for creating ruffles/ flouncing. Would you still like to keep it?

• Yes, I would like to add lining of the same fabric to the area you marked by the bust but I’d like a nude colored fabric in that area to match the mesh.
  -We will add lining underneath to have marked area opaque. Please kindly note that below bodice is made of gold tulle decorated with gold beaded lace appliques. Would you like nude lining or gold lining?
  
• I’d also like to add a built-in bra.
• I like the tight fit of the sleeves in the picture you provided.
• My hollow to knee measurement is 36 inches.
• I would like to use the FDY fabric for the dress because I’d like it to thick. I’m okay with the fact that it’s matte.
  - Please kindly choose color for the skirt from below color charts.
• Yes, I would like to add beaded lace appliqués to decorate the skirt hemline. I would also like to keep the tulle inside for the ruffles at the hemline.
• Below are screenshots of the review.
  - Her skirt is made of jersey fabric, it's not see-through at all. But light color such as white, ivory, etc might be a bit sheer due to its thin texture.
• I forgot to add in the previous message that I want to continue the lace appliqués from the back of the dress to the butt area of the dress to accentuate that area. Also, instead of only adding material to the area you marked by the bust, I’d like to add material all the way up to the neck.
  - Keep the same placement and layout of lace applique on the bodice of dress.
• And I’d also like to add material to the back all the way up to the neck.
  - If you want to add lining till the bust as marked above, the lining could only cover the back till the area below armpit.
  
  - If you want the whole back (below marked area) to be lined, the whole front will be lined as well.

Below color #2 will be for skirt.

Except sheer long sleeves, the whole bodice as marked below is fully lined. The whole bodice is in original gold color.

Is it okay to have more lace appliques to decorate below marked areas?

Tulle chart- #652 is not gold color.

Below shows gold tulle. We will send gold tulle swatch to you directly.

Per FDY color swatch costs 2 USD, and per tulle color swatch costs 1.5 USD. So it is 3.5 USD in total for gold tulle swatch and blue FDY color #2.
