Thank you for your reply and for all the details. Seems like you understood what we would like to have for our dresses.

I am highly interested in proceeding, however I would like to confirm with you the below things:

• will it be possible to see the swatches of the different colours and materials prior to proceeding with the order?
• when would it be best to finalise the order? I would like to "postpone" the production time to a point where (mostly for the adults) the sizes will be closer to the wedding day rather than the current measurements as there might be the possibility of slight size changes. Would it be possible to set the order for end of March and then select rush order, so that we will have the items roughly by end of April / beginning of May. What do you think?
• if the above is possible, how can we postpone the expiry of this customization? As it is currently saying 16 days to go, and I wouldn't like to miss it out.
• if we ask for some ties to be done (for the groomsmen) for the same similar colour, would you be able to make them? obviously this will not be made from chiffon or tulle - what material would you suggest? Will I be able to order swatches for this is as well? Any indication of the price per tie?

That is good then. I will try to purchase some swatches asap so that we can start deciding. As for the lace, it's not a problem. Just to check - would you have any other type of lace? the one that you showed me seems to be nice, but maybe you have some other options.

• Ordering Period:

I would preferably have the dresses earlier than a week prior to the wedding, just in case of any needed alterations. Therefore,we will most probably start the order earlier than mentioned, maybe end of February to have some extra time at hand.

• Extend the customization:

That would be greatly appreciated and surely useful :)

• Tie / Bow Tie:

I will check and will let you know about this. If so, could you please tell me which type of Satin would you use? So that I can check the swatches as well.

The main thing that I am finding it tricky on the price is that the 2 junior bridesmaids and 1 flower girl will incur less fabric material and less processing time than any other elaborate adult dress and with €130 (on average) per dress for these dresses I think that it is pretty expensive. How can we make this better? :)

I have also prepared detailed pictures of how the dresses are desired to be so that it will be clearer and easier for you.

In the meantime, would you recommend that I buy any swatches that I am interested in so that we can decide on the colour?

2 Adult Bridesmaids:

• Lace Bodice with capped sleeves
• Chiffon Base, with heart-shaped to top
• Belt strap all around waist, with the possibility of having the lace frills showing
• Floor length chiffon skirt without any pleats, yet a bit flowy
• Back with lace in a V, meeting at the mid-back area where chiffon and the zip starts
• No bow at the back

2 Junior Bridesmaids:

• Lace Bodice with capped sleeves
• Chiffon Base, with heart-shaped to top
• Belt strap all around waist, with the possibility of having the lace frills showing
• Knee length chiffon skirt with a few pleats to have more volume/flowy in the skirt.

• Bow at the back which can be combined from the belt strap mentioned before

Thank you for your replies and updates regarding the swatches process. Regarding the price, thank you for updating it - payment will be done once swatches has been received, coloured confirmed and we will kick off with the production of the dresses.

• Lace shown is good for us to use on all dresses

Adults:

• Skirt with no pleats but it is also understood that there will be some flowy pleats which are created due to the nature of the material. We just don't want the same pleated effect that you can see in the wisteria dress, where you have gathered material beneath the waist band and lace frills
• Built in bra - can this be avoided in one of the adult dresses? Bridesmaid prefers to wear her own
• Waist belt - yes, this is to be sewn from front and back without any self tied bows
• The dress closure will be with a zip, but maybe we can attach "fake" buttons from the bottom of the back-V to the waist. This is still to be confirmed (I will speak with them and see if they like it)

Juniors & Flowergirl

• Waist belt - this can be done separately, however I would still ask you to atleast attach it with some little stitches from 3 points (front part and from both waist sides) as after all they are kids and will most probably keep falling off with their movements and running around :) Atleast like that the belt will still be attached safely.
• The rest is all good!

Once I get the swatches and confirm the colours, we will send you the measurements and also payment so that we can proceed. But like this you already have a confirmation of the dresses customisations while we wait for the postman to arrive :)

May I kindly ask you to go through the whole conversation that I had with Tansy as all the details where confirmed just a few days ago. I know it's long (sorry) but there are a total of 5 dresses, all with the same concept (two-tone dresses, ivory lace & #101 chiffon/tulle) but style varies depending on their ages (Adults long dresses chiffon skirt, juniors knee-length chiffon skirt, flower girl knee-length tulle skirt).

Please note that:

1. All Dresses: Lace is NOT to be dyed, to NONE of the dresses!! It should be left with its own ivory colour so that we can get the two-tone dress. The peachy dress picture is just to show the top style (with cap sleeves and so on) that we want on all dresses (adults, juniors and flower girl)!
2. The colour #101 is to only to be used in the chiffon
3. Adults x 2 - we want a waistband (fixed to the dress, all around the waistline) and WITHOUT any pleats.
4. Junior Bridesmaids x 2 - same top style with cap sleeves with ivory lace and #101 chiffon base. Waist belt - this can be done separately, however I would still ask you to at least attach it with some little stitches from 3 points (front part and from both waist sides) as after all they are kids and will most probably keep falling off with their movements and running around :) At least like that the belt will still be attached safely.

Below I have prepared some points about all the different dresses to reconfirm that we are on the same line:

Adult Bridesmaid Dresses x 2:

• Ivory Lace Bodice with capped sleeves (to create two tone concept of the purple dress but with the peachy dress top style)
• Chiffon Base, with heart-shaped to top (#101)
• Belt strap all around waist (front and back), with the lace frills showing
• No bow at the back
• Floor length chiffon skirt without any pleats, yet a bit flowy (so not like the purple one, but as the maroon and peachy dresses)
• Back with lace in a V, meeting at the mid-back area where chiffon and the zip starts (same as the peachy dress). To attach fake buttons in the lace colour at the back where there is the zip until the waist strap starts
• 1 dress with built in bra (measurements 1) and 1 dress without built in bra (measurements 2)

Junior Bridesmaids Dresses x 2:

• Ivory Lace Bodice with capped sleeves - just as explained for the adults
  
• Chiffon Base, with heart-shaped to top (#101)
• Belt strap all around waist (front and back), with the lace frills showing and with a bow at the back
  • Only for the Junior Bridesmaids and Flower Girl this can be done separately, however I would still ask you to at least attach it with some little stitches from 3 points (front part and from both waist sides) as after all they are kids and will most probably keep falling off with their movements and running around :) At least like that the belt will still be attached safely.

  • Only for the Junior Bridesmaids and Flower Girl this can be done separately, however I would still ask you to at least attach it with some little stitches from 3 points (front part and from both waist sides) as after all they are kids and will most probably keep falling off with their movements and running around :) At least like that the belt will still be attached safely.
    
• Knee length tulle skirt (#711) with a pleats to have more volume/flowy in the skirt.
  
• Back with lace in a (small) V (same as shown on the blue dress), meeting at the top-part with buttons (ideally buttons will be in #101 colour - same concept of the blue dress once again) going down to the waist before tulle skirt starts

This way, all dresses will have the same concept of the 2 tone dresses with Ivory Lace capped sleeves bodice on top and then chiffon/tulle coloured skirt. Depending on the ages, the length of the skirts will vary from floor length to knee length as described above. All measurements were provided before - let me know if you need any further measurements from my side.

I apologise for bugging you again with a long message but I wanted to confirm and that you do not take a lot of work on something different. :)

Kindly confirm that upon dresses confirmation, the dresses will be shipped with express shipping to which I will not be charged extra for.

I understand that you might have been caught up with people on maternity leave, however this is still not my problem at this point. Your company knew about the maternity leave and peak season, so it would have been better if you had informed me and other customers about your current situation.

Also we had been in touch about the dresses since December - if I had known/informed about this, I would have order my dresses earlier so avoid this. Make sure that when saying around the 10th of May, this will not become the 11th of May or any day later!
