Double FDY fabric is stretchy, but not very thick or very thin. It is best for this dress.

Hi so I’d like that lace appliqué but in red not white and I was after more of a bright red. I can’t see the shade I really want in that colour chart.
Lace fabric can be dyed in the red color.

I don’t really like the look of satin I think I’ll go with the double FDY fabric colour #1 , is it a brighter red than appears in the colour chart of exactly the same?
Color difference can not be avoided due to the light effect, displayer of computers. Let alone the pictures you attached were filtered already.
The color #1 of FDY fabric is normal red color. It is a bit deeper than in the picture.

Ok so in your opinion what material would be best to give the dress form and structure so it is still flowy but pulls me in on the waist and bust? I don’t know much about fabrics so whatever fabric you say is good for the dress is fine.

Dress in picture 1-2 has lace appliques decorate the skirt. If you would like to keep those lace appliques, we do not advise to insert below detailing.
If you do not mind, the skirt to be made from plain FDY fabric without lace appliques, we advise to insert above detailing in the back.

And when you make it can you keep the shape of those pleats in the bottom so maybe have the bottom of the dress thicker so the pleats are still there.

Also when you said The dress will be lined what do you mean? Will you be adding another layer of fabric to make it thicker ? Sorry for all the questions just want to be sure it will be on the thicker side so it pulls my body in not like that slinky thin material that doesn’t form your body at all.

Okay great so before I pay can we just confirm
1.Instead of the original straps for the neckline I want a halterneck style neckline.
2.I want the dress to be taken in at the waist and below the bum to really define my shape in the dress.
3.I want it longer at the back than the front by 24cm.
And even with the halterneck I still want an open back ending at the same point shown in the pictures.

For #1, the plunging V-neck with sheer mesh in cleavage below yellow line, and halter strap as marked like below.
Remove crisscross strap from the back, the rough shape of back like below.
For #2, please note the shape of the dress depends on the measurements you provided. If your body shape is hourglass, the dress must come with small waist and big hips as you required. Otherwise, we can not guarantee the shape of dress.
For #3, it is 24 cm from the back of heel to end of train.

Did the price go up by $20 due to the halterneck and the additional lace for that?
We need to remake the cutting pattern due to the halter neck and longer train which is expensive.
If you would like to keep the dress style, we advise to remove the lace appliques, so that we do not pay for material factory to dye the lace appliques.

Okay no worries I would like to keep the neckline as I had it in the start the only change I still want to make is a longer train but I am a little confused as I said I wanted the longer train from the start and you said the dress would be $239 I understand if the price increased due to the halterneck but not the train as it was always intended to be longer.
At the beginning, you said the back to be 5 cm longer than the picture- it is easy for us to add 5 cm - 10 cm long train in the first dress. We do not need to remake the cutting pattern.
But the cutting pattern is needed to remake when you asked for 24 cm long train. Let alone the halter neckline.
As I said in my first reply, the final price might be changed based on the fabrics and final design you choose.
I just can give you approximate price at the beginning, as I do not know the final design you may require.

Wait could I not have it like this so
purple- to keep the lace.
yellow-where the toulle would be.
blue-to remove the lace.
So I would leave the lace on the bum [purple] but get rid of the lace on the sides [blue] of where the toulle would go [yellow] and finally leave the little bits of lace right at the bottom of the skirt [purple] that could join into the lace on the toulle so it all looks consistent. Something like this if possible :
And because I’m having the train 24cm longer the toulle would look longer than seen in the picture (here it looks abit short as I want it to start right from under the point the lace on the bum ends).
So just to give you a better idea of how I wanted it to look these pink sections on the toulle would end up joining onto the lace sections of the skirt so it looks right

- Add appliqued tulle fabric in yellow area.
- Remove lace appliques from blue area
- Keep lace appliques in blue area- Please note if you would like to keep lace decorating along the hemline in the front as marked in below purple area, it is good idea to keep lace appliques in below blue area. Otherwise, we advise to remove the appliques from blue areas. Since it does not make the dress look more beautiful.

1. FDY fabric colour #1.
2.Train 25cm from back of heal, AT THE BACK.
3.Keep front at floor length no longer than the picture.
4.No toulle , keep all the lace appliqué on the dress as seen in the photos (back+front).
5.keep the pleats in the bottom of the dress.
6. Keep v-shape of open back just 2cm lower than the picture.
Also in the pictures of this dress it looks as though there is a fabric/layer of some sort of toulle or mesh fabric over the whole dress what is this? Will my dress have it?

Okay I can give all those measurements. What is BP distance? What is one-step? And so from the front the dress will end at floor level and from the back the train will be 25cm from the back of the heel, right?
Also how will the pleats be kept in the skirt? Like how will you make the pleats so they stay in this exact form

It should be after you wear the shoes, the skirt touches the floor barely.
For train length, it should be around 25 cm from the end of train to back of your heel.
