I looked everywhere for a blue wedding dress. I mean every where. I finally came across this site and decided to take a chance, and it was worth it!!!! BIG TIME!!!!
I had a vision of my wedding day and these guys came through for me in a huge way! Tansy was so patient and did not bat an eye when I asked for more layers or a different bodice. She worked with me and suggested things I never would have thought of. This dress was PERFECTION!! I did have to have it taken up a bit but over all the fit was just amazing considering it was all done online. If I had it to go over again I would have gone to a tailor to have measurements taken, but honestly I could not be more pleased!! Our wedding was last weekend and this is the very first review I've done, because it meant that much to me to let Lunss know what an amazing job they've done!!! It might seem nerve-wracking to pay money to have a custom dress done entirely online, but as long as you are specific and patient, these folks will come through for you!!!

We can make this dress for you. Actually, this blue dress does not have any beads, it was made from lace fabric completely. Lace fabric features dots and florals. Let's confirm your requirements one by one.
- Change the color of the liner to ivory- is lace fabric in ivory color as well? So whole dress is in ivory color?
- Shorten the train to a sweep train- please advise measurement from back of your heel to end of train.

Thank you for the quick response!
To answer your questions, I want the top layer (pale blue) the same color, but instead of the champagne color lining as in the pic do an ivory. So, it would be the pale blue over the ivory lining. And as lining fabric is concerned I don't like satin or shiny materials, I like soft matte fabric for lining. :)
As for the train, 45 to 50 cm(1.5 feet) is the length from heel to end of the train.
I really, really want this to work so anything you need to clarify or me to send please just ask. I understand that depending on the fabric you are able to get, the top lace may be different than what the actual dress is made of and that is perfectly fine.
Oh and I don't want pockets on the dress. And from dresses I've tried on, I'd like to have a few pleats at the waistline. I've attached pictures as an example.

Arm Circumference- 26cm
Sleeve Length- 57cm
Shoe Height- 10cm

Train Length- 50cm
Pale blue over ivory (non-shiny) lining, button-up back, a few waist pleats, sweep train (50cm), and if we could make the belt detachable if possible? Oh and no pockets.....it looks a bit weird with them being sheer like that.

Oh my goodness!! I just got so excited when I saw that lace, it's perfect! And yes to a button back instead of a zipper. The lining looks good as well, not too shiny which is great. Will you send a picture of the dyed lace over the lining when it's done?

I am glad to tell you that materials of dress are prepared. But after we put pale blue lace over ivory lining, we find that it does not look more beautiful than the original dress which is made from pale blue lace over champagne lining.
How about we keep the lining in champagne color? Just keep the color of original dress to show respect to the original design?
By the way, there are some layers of tulle fabric between lace and lining creating a bit puffy effect.

I wanted to check in and see if there was anymore news on the lining? If ivory doesn't look as good, then I would consider a nude or pink or champagne color. The reason I want to get a lockdown on the lining is because my bridesmaids are going to wear a color similar to the lining color of the dress, whatever that ends up as.

I am glad to let you know that your dress has been finished. It looks so beautiful. Please note that we just put two layers of tulle in the skirt, since we did not get your confirmation of color. We will modify the color and add more fabric to make the dress puffy after getting your confirmation.

Overall it looks good, my only concern is the lining color isn't really what I had in mind. It looks to be the same blue as the outer lace. I understand that you thought the ivory didn't look as good, so instead of ivory or blue can you try a beige/nude or champagne color? What I really like about the original dress is the difference in color of the lining and the overlay, I just wasn't into gold as a lining color. The blue lace is spot on!! Can you send close-up pictures of the button-up back? The bodice color would need to be changed to match the rest of the lining as well. The bodice shape is good, but is there another non-lace fabric you can use for the bodice? I'm afraid the two lace patterns don't mix well together.
Also, the lining of the original dress looks to be the same length as the train. I think it allows the contrast of the dress to go all the way to the bottom.

According to the demands you provided, I summarize alterations below.
- The lining of dress is in color champagne. Actually, we do not put enough tulle fabric underneath, as we did not get your reply about color for lining.
We will add more layers of tulle fabric, so that champagne color could contrast to pale blue strongly. - It is okay, pictures of lace-up back will be advised later.
- Do you mean lining in yellow areas will be replaced by a plain solid fabric? Also it will be in color champagne?
- Actually, lining(fabric underneath) of original dress is shorter than the train(lace fabric). Please check area as marked below, only stretchy band is attached to the edge of train instead of lining.
If you want lining to be the same length of train, we can modify it for you too.

The button-up back it PERFECT!! I love it!! And I can see the color of the lining better with the dress off the mannequin.
As far as the bodice color goes, keep the pale blue, just switch to a non-lace fabric. If you would add a few more layers of the champagne lining so it stands out a bit better that would be fantastic! I see what you're saying with the train lining, I think the original dress has a gold layer sewn all the way down and then has a normal lining. That is what gives the layered color look all the way down.
Would it look good to add at least a few layers all the way to the floor?

I think I want the layers to go all the way to the floor, that way the champagne color is underneath all the way down. And the bodice changed to a solid pale blue fabric and I think that will do it!!

I didn't realize it was tulle. I just re-read above, I apologize about that. Is there a chiffon-like champagne material available to use? I like tulle but I don't want much puff. The amount of right now is fine, I just don't want to go puffier.

We will add a layer of most suitable fabric as lining for your dress, and tulle fabric is very soft. Thus, all fabrics of this dress will match perfectly and this skirt is not very puffy.

We have finished alterations. Please check your dress.
For the top, we tried to replace the lace with plain fabric as lining, but we find the dress looked too cheap with plain fabric. We re-use the lace fabric, since lace top is far more beautiful than the plain fabric top.
